Significant updates
The stay-at-Aston Villa outcome gained ground as a report titled "Aston Villa Won’t Let Emiliano Martinez Leave | Transfer Update" circulated on August 11, 2026. The market moved from 0.7455 to 0.8935 between 2026-08-09T23:00:13.000Z and 2026-08-10T23:56:06.157Z, a 14.8-point increase. That movement appears consistent with the report’s message that Villa may resist any exit, but the source does not prove a completed transfer decision. This is a market price change, not a confirmation that a move has been finalized or ruled out.
What changed
Aston Villa’s reported reluctance to let Emiliano Martinez leave likely coincided with a sharp rise in the market’s stay-at-Villa price.
