Why this matters

Market moves can show where expectations are changing. PolySays adds the source trail so the price is not treated as proof on its own.

Known catalysts

  • Nearby coverage mentioned pregame lineup and roster updates, but the exact cause of the price move is not confirmed.
  • The Dodgers’ rise and the Mets’ decline happened in the same pregame window, suggesting a linked market reaction, but that remains unverified.

Unresolved questions

  • What specific lineup or roster information, if any, triggered the pregame odds move?
  • Was the shift driven by team news, market reaction, or both?
  • Did later reports clarify why the prices moved so sharply before first pitch?
